Chromatics

I'm sorry to say that I primarily know nothing of the Chromatics. I've done my research and only came up news of a debut album, Shining Violence, being released this year on Troubleman Unlimited.

I'm interested in Chromatics because of their new single "In The City". The vinyl fuzz that kicks off the song brings to mind an obvious retro vibe. A bass and keyboard pluck (If that makes sense) enter the bare atmosphere. Then the guitar lick comes in sounding like Avalon era Roxy Music. 2006 favorites, The Knife, could be another similar comparison.

Sofia Coppola should be head hunting this band for her next soundtrack.
