Busta Rhymes Charged Again

When is it going to stop Busta? Rhymes (born Trevor Smith) was placed with a charge once again. This time it was misdemeanor assault coming from a man who claims he was beaten outside a lower Manhattan building over money disputes. Busta's lawyer, Robert Kalina, stated that "I can tell you, judge, my client is innocent, and I rarely say this in a courtroom."

Rhymes has also been accused or charged on other occasions in recent memory. In April of '06, he was accused of making remarks to a gay man and having his bodyguards push the man away. Then on August 12 of 2006, after performing at the AmersterJam Music Festival he was charged with assault.

He is scheduled to make a court appearance on Februrary 20.
